Website evaluation
What you'll learn
1. How to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
2. Validation that your customers understand how to use your website and navigate the information within it
3. An understanding of what's driving the behavior reflected in your data and analytics
4. Ensure your website's look and feel evokes the intended emotion from your customers
There’s nothing more frustrating than for a customer to visit a website and have a poor experience, whether the checkout process is inefficiently designed, the page takes too long to load, or they can’t find the information they’re looking for.
This template can be customized for your needs whether you’re testing the usability or navigation elements of your website, or observing the ease or difficulty of completing a specific task.
With remote moderated or unmoderated testing, analyze how users navigate through your website given a specific task or goal. Easily see, hear, and talk to your customers remotely as they engage with your site to hone critical user flows, and improve your information architecture.
If you’re following the Agile Process, it’s recommended to hone in on website evaluation in the deploy stage, following the test stage and right before conducting website comparison.
Meanwhile, if you’re following the Design Thinking Process, opt for website evaluation during the testing stage, following prototype work. To start, you’ll need the website you’d like to test and an idea of one or several tasks you’d like test participants to complete.
